Cosmetic

As technology has progressed through the last decade the capabilities of the dentist have improved tremendously. The improvement in cosmetic dentistry allows you to have a smile that's brighter and better looking than ever before. We can change your teeth to suit your needs, including correcting a gummy smile, replacing or restoring worn or missing teeth with the use of porcelain veneers and crowns, and by polishing away stains on your teeth so you can have a white, healthy smile.

Orthodontic

Even though when most people think of orthodontics, they think of braces, we also provide alternatives for both young children and adults. Clear, plastic retainers for adults are an option for small crowding problems where arch expanders are a good way to keep children from developing a need for braces later on in life.

Orthodontic solutions have many benefits:

  • Reduces the risk of injury
  • Reduces the risk of decay - straight teeth are easier to clean
  • Reduces the risk of developing TMJ problems
  • Eliminate excessive wear on your teeth due to a poorly aligned bite
  • Straight teeth give you a more attractive smile

Preventative

We can also provide you with preventative dental services when you come in for a checkup:

  • Examinations: A comprehensive exam that will give you the most accurate and detailed dental health evaluation, or just a periodic checkup to make sure your dental health stays at its best.
  • Ultrasonic Cleanings: The latest method to gently remove tartar and stains from your teeth. This method is very effective, using a wand that produces a soft vibration that gently wears away stains while leaving your enamel intact. It also uses a thinner tip allowing it to reach deeper around the gums for a much more thorough cleaning.
  • Coronal Polishing: Removing stains and cleaning up the crown portions of your teeth.
  • Topical Fluoride: Added to your teeth after cleaning in order to strengthen and remineralise the surfaces of your teeth.

Of course, in the office we always have some written or visual materials on hand for you to read in order to keep your teeth healthy in between visits.

Restorative

If you have a cavity, it should be properly filled before it grows too large and other dental health concerns arise. We can clean out and fill in a cavity in order to:

  • Limit the damage done by a cavity
  • Preserve your teeth
  • Reestablish the use of your teeth
  • Prevent the tooth from having to be removed
